Class 3 – Years 4, 5 and 6

Welcome to the year 4, 5 and 6 class and the Summer Term 2019…

I am Mrs Bowe and I am the class teacher.

Our classroom is always a fun place to be and it is where there are always high expectations and clear challenges.

Our mornings consist of Maths, English and Science lessons, with afternoons being used for PE, History, Geography, Computing, Art, Design, French and RE.

Mrs Douglas teaches the children on Fridays, teaching Science and French. This term the children will commence 8 weeks of swimming on Monday 13th May 2019.

PE is taught by our Sports’ Coach – Andy Conkey – every Thursday afternoon.

Class 2 – Years 2 and 3

Welcome to years 2 and 3!

Hello, I am Miss Monaghan and I am the year 2 and 3 teacher.

There are 16 children in our class and we are lucky to have Mrs Moore (our teaching assistant) and Miss Baxter (our apprentice) to help us this year.

In the mornings, we have our daily English and Maths lessons, as well as Science on a Thursday morning with Mrs Douglas. In the afternoons, we have our Geography, History, French, RE, PE, Art, Design and Technology and Computing lessons. Andy Conkey – our Sports’ Coach – comes into school on a Thursday and teaches PE to the whole school.

Class 1 – Nursery, reception and Year 1

Welcome to Mrs Mogford’s Class 1 page.

In Nursery and Reception we love to learn through play.

Mrs Mogford teaches the children in Class 1 every day, with the support of Miss Murphy, Miss Cass and Mrs Moore. on a Thursday morning, Mrs Douglas teaches the children Science and Andy Conkey – our Sports’ Coach – teaches the children PE.

Starting Nursery and Reception is a very important and exciting time for children and parents. here, in our Early Years room, we offer the children lots of opportunities to learn and explore through play within our continually changing provision areas (indoors and outdoors). The children will learn through a mixture of adult-led child-initiated learning, both of which are equally important in a child’s development.

In Year 1, our classroom is always a busy place to be. We aim to always be kind, friendly and respectful to each other. We always try our best and love to learn. We work hard every day, smile, and most importantly – have fun!

Our morning routine includes English, Maths, Phonics and Science. In the afternoons we focus upon RE, PE, Geography, History, Art and Computing.
